Beginner's Acrylic Class - Adult Class - Ages 16+

Fee: $30/person or $55/couple (and yes, you & your best friend count as a couple!)

Join us for an enjoyable evening in a casual atmosphere where you will be walked thru the step by step process of creating your own completed work of art to take home.

Artist Bio - Melissa Piva is a local artist & muralist who has been painting professionally for over 15 years. She paints with both acrylic & watercolors, and experimenting with different styles and techniques. 

Fabric Dyeing Workshop Saturday June 20th

Join us for a full day of creating your very own beautiful fabrics!

Melissa Milos will be our workshop instructor. Melissa is an accomplished quilter, long arm quilter and experience fabric dyer.

All supplies are provided, including 2 meters of organic fabric to dye in a rainbow of colours, powder dyes, buckets, gloves, etc... 

You will leave this workshop with 2 meters (53" wide) of wonderful hand dyed fabric (by you!) and a little extra dye to take home to try on your own.

A light lunch will be provided.

Fee: $80.00 per person

Open Studio coming up Saturday March 21st

Come out and join us for a day of being creative Saturday March 21st - 10am - 3pm. Gather your art and craft supplies, fabric, paints, whatever you need and set aside this day for some YOU time!  Lots of great light and wonderful people to spark creative inspiration and ideas! Bring your own lunch and the fee is $5.

Tangles & Tea Wednesday March 11th, 7pm - 9pm

Come out for a night of Zentangle Doodling!

This is not a workshop, just a place and time to create some tangle designs, share a cup of tea and be creative with others.

If you've done Zentangle before, bring your supplies to doodle with and some show and tell for inspiration.  If you're new to Zentangle, there is a lot of information on the internet, check out this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ufz6l3W4Tw and the official Zentangle website that started it all www.zentangle.com .

All you need to start Zentangling is paper, fine tip marker, a pencil and a blending stick.  We will have some books available to look at for ideas and those with experience will be sure to help get you started.

Join us for a relaxing night of being creative, who knows what you might create!

Why not add some colour to your tangles? Bring your coloured pencils and markers along to add some pizzaz to your doodles!

All supplies including canvas, liquid white, oil paints, solvents, gesso, brushes, palettes, easels, etc. will be provided. We will work together, step by step through this painting and you will leave with a completed work of art ready to frame in 2.5 hours! No experience needed and YES, you can do this! Please arrive a few minutes early to set up your canvas and settle in. We will start painting right at 1pm!! You may want to print a copy of the painting to use as reference in class as well.
